The latest model Superhead hit the stores this week with a few changes that have improved the performance on the old model.
The main improvement is a specially designed brush filter to replace the internal insect screen. Until now there has been a bit of a trade- off between flow and filtration because a fine filter traps more debris, but gets blocked more quickly. A coarse filter will trap less debris but needs less maintenance. The old model featured a cone shaped mesh that was effective but needed regular cleaning especially when there was fine particles like bottle-brush flowers and pine needles
The new brush filter has a much larger surface area than the old screen which means better water flow and less maintenance.

The new Superhead features are:
- New Filter Brush to replace the internal insect screen. This increases water flow for longer and reduces maintenance
- Stainless Steel Leaf Screen for improved durabilty and water flow
- Removeable base cap so the flush pipe can be accessed if required
- Drain filter to prevent the drain from blocking with debris from the flush pipe
